Glass of Water

You can't fill a shattered glass with water You can patch it, tape it, glue it But there will always be a leak You won't fix it in a week or a month or a year

Yet I still pour water into that glass endlessly Hoping somehow this DIY patch job will keep the water held steadily

But in my rush I step in glass Cut my finger Bleed and Cry Filled with Rage that I can't put together was was once built perfectly

Slug: /glass-of-water
